54,000 LEARNER DRIVERS have received penalty points on their licences before even passing the driving test. This equates to 22% of all learner drivers on the road and the majority (60%) are for speeding offences. Nissan today announced its new Qazana concept car – a smaller brother to the Qashqai crossover. The Qazana will morph into a production car in 2010 and the new small crossover will be manufactured in the UK's Sunderland factory, securing 1100 jobs according to Nissan. The Qazana will be the centrepiece of Nissan's stand at the 2009 Geneva motor show.
A 1949 Ferrari 166MM Touring Barchetta will headline RM Auctions' Automobiles of Arizona event, Jan. 20-21 in Phoenix. This 166 MM, serial number 0024 M, was originally commissioned for the 1949 Paris motor show, where it was shown in yellow and blue, the racing colors of Argentina.
